Here are some pic (from phone camera, sorry) of the bar you saw earlier, in progress. I am hoping to get some high quality pic at a later date. There is also a theater room that we did in the room next to this one, I hope to be posting soon. We made every piece to this bar, that includes milling the bar front molding, and the corbels which include a sand blasted hop flower detail. You can also see that we sandblaster bunches of barley into the pilasters.
This client has brought the joy of going out to his home, with details that are not easy to find when your out on the town for the night. The bar has a dishwasher, sink, ice maker, and three fine beers on tap!

This is a cherry mantle /entertainment center. Our goal with this project was to eliminate clutter and maximize space in the living area. With a little time engineering we were able to make the large speakers and TV seen here work with limited space.

Here is a look at an entertainment center we just finished. This piece was designed to hide all electronics when not in use. The entertainment center was designed to be simple but elegant, it is proof that some times less is more.

Here is a cool little project. This is a piece of drift wood found on Wells beach (Maine) Sand blasted into a great beach house sign!

Office with custom wire management. Designed built and painted by Finishing Thoughts. This was a great space saver for a small room.

Thing are starting to move along on the DaveTown project! We are looking forward to the next few weeks. We are reaching the point where the real magic is going to happen! We have to take care of a few details and the bar will be able to be finished ( I look forward to the day that the finish is done and the brass rail can go on.)

The theater is also coming together well. We will be running molding soon and installing the speaker mesh. This room is going to be beautiful! I look forward to posting finish pic for all to enjoy.

We are also presently working on some built-in cabinets for the common area in the DaveTown space. Pictures of this area will also be posted soon.

This Is the first concept for the Dave Town theater room. We are looking forward to starting fabrication. Dave has requested a few changes but Im sure you will agree later they only improve the design!

Here are some more Dave Town in progress bar pics. The first picture you can see the masking on the wood, this mask is cut so we can blast out the wood around the mask to create a relief image(hop flower) this will be done on both sides of seven corbels and another relief will be blasted out of the seven columns that go under the columns.

These are the first in progress photo's of the Dave town bar. When finished this bar will be equipped with a sink, dish washer, ice maker, hidden pullout liquor cabinet and a multiple keg draft system!
